Spring semester 2019 - Fundamentals of Computational design
in collaboration with: elijah king, jules Przybylska, Shanice lam
TWIST is a vertical garden that uses two series of modules and one joint to explore the tectonic possibilities of digital design and fabrication. The vertical garden is easy to build, and the experimentation of assemblyoptions is a valuable part of the process.
We began with observing the movement of a key. Using the motion of a twist, we made a key-like joint, in which different systems can intertwine to create a standing structure.
